Great series was like a firecracker that sizzled and puttered then died in the end. What a let down

Well made it to the end. I agree with gamespot that the ending is too short. It's hard to justify the 400msp to play for an hour when all the other episodes where around 3 hours. Should have been 200msp.

Anyway the story ends with some of the events and choices the group made in the beginning coming around and biting them in the butt. There were no real moral delimmas to make here, very little action. It's mostly just an hour of the group running from a pack of zombies and Lee constantly insisting they need to find Clem.

I do feel that too many of the main characters you cared about since the beginning got sacrified along the way. It cost the game some emotional investment. It's good to sacrifce people just to keep letting you know that anything can happen to anyone, but in the end the game choose to sacrifice too many from the beginning characters in favor of characters that were too bland or annoying to care if they survived.

What really bothered me was the short clip ending at the end. Would it have been too much to throw us a bone and give us more than a short clip ending after the short credits. It was totally unsatisfying. We invested money, time, and our emotions in these characters and I wanted something more than the ending I got with Clem that was short and vague.

Anyway now that it's over I still can't wait to play it a couple more times and make different choices. Like maybe this time I will steal all the food from the car and not feel bad about it at all. As a series I would rate the game an 8 but as a final episode a pathetic 6.
