Even with the awkward controls and glitches, I found myself highly addicted to playing this game!

User Rating: 8 | The Walking Dead: Episode 5 - No Time Left PC
Gameplay: 6.5/10 - There's not much here in the gameplay department. You'll find yourself simply walking around with the left stick and looking at your environment with the right to find clues or objects that will help you progress the story. There are many shooting and melee situations found throughout each of the chapters, but don't expect any Halo/CoD-esque gameplay, you can only shoot when you're allowed to. The meat-and-bones of the experience lies with the dialog choices that you are given. Telltale provides the player with various situations where you have to make difficult decisions and the story is ultimately affected by your choices; should you save this man or this woman? Should you shoot this person or let them live? It's these situations that make the game very interesting, and provides high replayability.

Graphics: 7.5/10 - Nothing amazing, but the game does look like the comic book, which is what Telltale was aiming for. The game looks simple, yet there are still constant hiccups when the game is loading your choices into the story. The Walking Dead lacks that final polish, and it's noticeable.

Story: 10/10 - This is why The Walking Dead was voted Game of the Year. (I personally wouldn't, since I believe games should be graded by more than just storylines) However, this game has one of the most well-told stories in any game that I've played. The character development, the excitement, the twists that the TV series is well known for can be found here as well. This is what kept me playing, and as soon as I finished a chapter, I couldn't wait to play the next one. Yes, It's that good.

Animations: 8/10 - The characters a pretty well animated (no motion-capture here) but they do feel a bit stiff at times. The facial expressions on each character are pretty well done also.

Final note: If Telltale would have added that extra bit of polish to the game, this would have been a perfect experience. I wish that the game wouldn't have those constant pauses, or the high amount of glitches that I experienced through just my first playthrough, then this game would have received higher marks. Unfortunately, this game is plagued with problems; but that shouldn't keep you from experiencing one of the best stories in gaming to date.
