Just like the movie
The graphics are great. The players look great and so do their surroundings. The lighting looks good and everything is really clear. The frame rate barely ever busts up, allowing you to keep fighting without any annoying interuptions.
The gamplay in this game is fantasic, you can rob shops, steal car radios, mug defensless strangers and even uncuff you fellow gang members. The game even displays the crime you have just commited on the screen. The fighting moves are great aswell, there is one move in which you can throw yourself across the screen, knocking down anyone in your way. The controls are fairly easy to get used to as most of the fighting moves are just button combinations. The weapons in this game is pretty much anyhting you can pick up off the ground. Sticks, plank of wood, signs, anything.
The sound is excellent, there is one level where you are placed amidst a riot. Here you can here the shouts, sirens and screams amoung other things. All the weapons make a nice sound when they collide with human flesh and bone.
This game will keep you coming back for more with the 20 plus missions and things to unlock. There is even a neat co-op mode where you and a friend can build you gangs rep and beat your way through Connie Island.
All together The Warriors is a great fighting game that need checking out if you liked the movie or just have fun playing these types of games. The challenge in this game will keep it fresh for a while.
