Although the main story missions are undeniably the focus of the game, there's a lot of other stuff to keep you busy for hours and hours. From the gang's headquarters (which acts as the game's hub), you can workout in an attempt to build stamina and power, head outside to explore your turf, or simply chat with the other members of the gang. My favorite extra, however, is the flashback missions which show you how each Warrior came to be in the gang. It's an excellent way of fully fleshing out the characters even more, while still staying true to the events of the film.
As if the single-player game wasn't enough to keep you entertained for hours, The Warriors also features a highly entertaining cooperative mode. A second player can hop into the action at any time for as long as he or she wants, and the screen will split so the players don't have to stay together (although it can remain a single screen when you're close to your buddy). In addition to the co-op play, there's also a "Rumble Mode" that allows you to create your own gang by choosing members of the other gangs, then do battle in a variety of arenas against another player or the computer. Both multiplayer modes are a total blast, and you'll probably find yourself playing them long after you've finished the single-player experience
