The Warriors on psp is actually better than i thought it would be...
User Rating: 9.3 | The Warriors PSP
Originally The Warriors came out on the Playstation 2 and the Xbox and now sometime later is now on the Playstation Portable. At first I thought it was going to similar to GTA as the sound was slow and most of the level seems to disappear then reappear, which was annoying. In fact, I bought the game today and The Warriors doesn't have any problems that occur unlike GTA on the psp. The sound is great, the graphics are good and the environment, weapons and tactics are top notch. But you would probably expect The Warriors on the PSP would be different for example: new missions and script modifications or weapons, well if you did think that you are wrong. The game still has the same script which is funny, well written and planned out and contains the cutscenes that were featured in the previous titles on the Playstation 2 and the Xbox. The controls are easy to use once you get the hang of them, but it isn’t as easy as the controls on the current gen consoles as the PSP doesn't contain an analogue stick and four shoulder buttons. Another good feature about the game is that it has got a lot of content on the single and multiplayer mode which is very good as it is crammed into a mini Universal Media Disc which has got a low capacity (and encase you wanted to know it has 1.8 gig,) the multiplayer is the same but it doesn't mean it is entirely a big let down I still think it keeps you and your friend occupied for a certain amount of time as you can do co-op on story or vs.
The only thing I've spotted out which lets the game down is sometimes in a cutscene it suddenly goes to a loading screen and appears back on the cinematic again and there isn't as much weapons to grab that the other versions but it didn't seem to bother me that much and once you complete the game there isn't much to do at all except for mugging, beating people up, stealing and you are stuck on a very small level permanently.
If you are a fan of the warriors’ games then the PSP version will satisfy you for quite a while and is worth the price and the wait.
