one of the greatest rpg games ive ever played. the choice system is more like that of mass effect than that of skyrim, oblivion,etc. the game has stunning graphics, interesting characters and a complex combat system which makes it more challenging and more fun to play compared to the elder scrolls stiff combat where you cannot even dodge. you can also buy crafting diagrams that the local smith can use to craft you an item provided you have the required combination of ingredients which you pick up along tha way or simply buy from the merchants. the character cannot craft items on his own.
however the lack of fast travel makes the game boring as you have to walk all the way back from where you came from, after finishing the quest. i can even add that this is what in fact makes the game seem longer than it really is.
the major downside its the so called mature theme given to the title. i have to say this game feels more like pornography than any of you can imagine. i had hopped that mature would mean something other than naked women and sex. the game is soo explicit (even for a movie) i had to watch at-least 2 lesbian couples doing it. you can never play the game in front of people as you never know when the next sex scene will pop up. the moaning sounds tend to make it look look you are watching porn rather that playing a video game so never play without headsets :) . if you like to see how a game can let you pay for sex that you can actualy watch, a game that never gives a damn to sensor a womans sexual parts, the witcher 2 has it all. i think a mature game should be about a story that is less of a fantasy and about realistic characters that make the game and the plot feel more alive and able to capture ones emotions like a movie no matter the age, NOT another way to say pornographic
other than that, its a great game that you would probably enjoy!
