After playing Dark Souls and Skyrim, this game pales in comparison. The story is decent and the mass effect type cause and effect dialog was great. The graphics were excellent except wasted on the droll environments. Speaking of environments, there were only 5 small areas to really explore. The dialog may not have been linear but the game as a whole felt like a straight line. Not a lot of exploring to do in comparison to other games. There were little quirks with the battle system but over all not bad, and maybe a slight learning curve. The foes you fought were all very predictable, the only thing that made them difficult were the numbers. The fighting got stale quickly. Your foes become very repetitive. The leveling was lame and with only 35 levels you feel like you're being shorted. And once you start seeing effects from your leveling the game ends. It was far to short. But to be honest, I was getting bored anyway. In summation:
Rent it. Maybe the third game will be better...
