As close to perfect as an RPG can get. Despite some bugs, the story, characters, graphics, and world are amazing.
Negs:
Yes, the game has some bugs, but any PC game this ambitious will have some; I never experienced any game-stopping or game-breaking bugs.
Middling (neither good nor bad):
The most useful items (weapons & armor) are few and far between. It's not as loot-intensive as other games, but it also makes you value the items you get.
The skill tree seems to heavily favor one branch. I maxed out the sword branch during my first play-through and found it FAR more useful than the magic one, which I maxed during my second. The alchemy branch seems almost entirely useless for my play style.
Pros:
The graphics are downright gorgeous. Props to whoever worked on the lighting and day/night cycle, as those really make the game. The costumes on each character look very detailed and impressive.
The choice system actually does have consequences on how people react to you and, as all reviews say, the parts of the story you experience or miss. Lite-spoiler: In the first big choice, I went with the "bad" person and found that story much better than the story with the "good" person I experienced during my second play-through.
