I'll keep this short. The game is very interesting, and it is a solid RPG. Good story, interesting alchemy system, ok combat, blah blah blah. The problem is that it is VERY unstable. I play a lot of games, and nothing comes close to The Witcher. I have to save every couple of minutes or I end up having to re-do parts. Even worse, this game has the KNOWN bug of crashing DURING A SAVE!!! If you like using QuickSave you can easily end up losing an hour of play when the quick save file gets corrupted. the AutoSave might, er, save you, but this is unacceptable. The regular save is a pain to navigate to.
Because of these problems I just moved on to other games and missed out on probably the best parts. I don't consider this a valid review, but I'm not a reviewer. I'm just a gamer who got too frustrated with the bugs to continue.
