The great disappointment! I was left feeling betrayed and used!!!
I was waiting for this game since it was announced! I looked for every news and every article, collected every screenshot! When the game came I almost flied to the store to buy it. The boxart was great! I was looking forward to return of the Mulder and Scully… But when Ive seen those amazingly horrible graphics and tried those extremely stupid and difficult controls and camera I was left feeling used. I spend my time waiting and collecting for that game and the result, in a matter of speaking raped me!!! Yeah, the story was good.. Nothing less you can expect from the creators of the series… but the other whole ordeal is utter crap!!! Even the voicework by main actors is slow, stupid and out of place!!! Well, come on people, you had what, 1-2 years to make this game?!?!?! Could have done the better job than this!!!!!!!!! The camera is horrible. Most of the time you don’t battle the zombies but this stupid camera!! You can’t see a sh*t!!! The same cr*p is with enemies. In many places they respawn continuously, leaving you more disappointed then thrilled! The gameplay is unbalanced in most of the places.. like for example when you battling the last boss you got like 2 maybe 3 medikits, and you get attacked by other 3-4 enemies BESIDES the boss. You die after 2-3 hits… Well COMEON!!! How the expect you to win this??!!? And you have to fight this boss like that 2 or 3 time in a row! WITHOUT any resupplies!!!
Well, for any X-Files fan: buy this game if you see it for the LOWEST price! Or don’t buy at all! Get instead the old classic PC X-Files game! More satisfaction and joy for the twice as lesser price!!!
