Never have I cared so much about the lives of rectangles

Right off the bat I'm going to say that the overall game play for this game is kind of forgettable and bland. It's a puzzle plat-former so games like N+ and Limbo stick out as being better in terms of content and challenge. But where this game really shines is in the character depth and story line. Though a screen shot of the game might be misleading, each and every rectangle has a name and personality that create a more emotionally immersed experience than I've ever had from a game of this genre. The line "John hoped he'd be the next to get eaten. He didn't want to be alone." nearly had me in tears. Be it Thomas's naivety, Chris's bitterness, John's arrogance, Clair's hero complex, Laura's abandonment issues, James' self loathing or Sarah's adventurous nature, the last thing you're going to see is a bunch of boring rectangles. The game is kind of short so if you payed full price on steam for it you might be feeling a bit let down when you beat it in 3 hours but I managed to get my version from the humble indie bundle with a ton of other games for 10 dollars, so i totally recommend doing that. Even if its only so you can say that the relationship between an orange square and a magenta rectangle was a better love story than twilight. Also The game soundtrack is fantastic and really adds to the charm of the game. Everyone Needs To Play This Game!!! its awesome!!!
