I have not played previous Tiger Woods PGA Tour games, but this is a great game to pick-up and get into. It’s a bit slow going in the beginning as your golfer is rather poor and can barely hit the ball, but the game seems to be getting considerable more fun as my golfer gains experience. It has great graphics and quite a few nice touches that allow you to “fast track” the various mini-video clips which do tend to repeat a bit. The most annoying part of the game is that you cannot save your game while you’re playing a course (e.g. after you’ve played a hole). You can only save once the entire course has been played. In the beginning it’s okay as most tournament are 9 holes, but to play a full 18 holes takes about 1 hour 30mins… that’s a long stretch for me! ;-) Other than that, it’s the best golf game I’ve ever played!
