A very accessible form of golf

Let me mention this first...if you are looking for a realistic representation of golf look somewhere else. Tiger Woods 2005 is all about having fun and taking the frustration of golf away. The game is overall very easy (unless you turn caddie off and turn on tour difficulty) You probably won't have trouble hitting -20 on your first tournament and winning it by atleast 10 strokes. But this is what is good about TW2005.. it takes the frustration of golf away and makes it a fun game to play. So let me talk about the graphics now, while they have some flat textures it is overall solid. and the create-a-player (called GameFace2) is absolutely amazing. you can control everything from moles to freckles to putting braces on your teeth and the type of teeth you have, skin tone, and facial shape. the customization of your character is absolutely limitless. you will be able to almost anyone. that bumps the graphics score to a 7 (it would've been a 6) the audio in this game is very exagerated. when you it the ball it sometimes sounds like a rocket launching and i know that some people will be distracted by it. but overall the soundtrack is very good and the effect are solid. the online mode is a standard head to head (2 players) nothing special. Overall i'd say TW2005 is a solid game that is very fun to play, but doesnt bring anything new to the table. if you want to play a golf game without the frustration of it i'd say pick up Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 2005
