A very descent game for a great movie.

Well maybe it´s not the best game in the world but it´s a very decent job for a licensed game. When i first played this game i was just a kid and i just loved nightmare before christmas, i was haunted with the magic of the characters and the world so when i first played it i was amazed, even though i didn´t speak english at the time. I replayed this game so much times looking for secrets and stuff, until my ps2 get broken.

So like 2 months ago i found this game on my old things and nostalgia came to me running, so i borrowed a friend´s ps2 to re-play it (again).

When i started the game again all my sweet memories blinded me for a time, but then when i continued playing i noticed it wasn´t the super fantastic game that i remembered and that it has a lot of bad things like the repetitive gameplay, the confuse targets (in times) and the lack of things to buy at the store; But even with the bad things i also noticed that it wasn´t a bad game, of course it feels lazy in some aspects but it has great things too, like the environments (i love being able to explore halloween town and the other iconic places), the characters that appear, the soundtrack (OMG i just love the fucking music of tis game) and some other things that this game makes right.

I could spend more words on the bad thing and the good thing of this game, but i just want to say another thing before getting to the conclusions; Gamespot gave it a 6 note on his review, i think that´s a little unfair cause this game has a lot of good thing that many licensed games don´t have, and it deserves better.

Well my conclusion is that if you have the cance of buying or trying this game you should, obviously if you like the movie you will find more enjoyment of this game, even though it doesn´t have the best plot in the world, you will find enjoyment in visiting the iconic places shown in the movie and other cools stuff that will make you like this game (the dance sequences are amazing).
