It's about as old-school, and awesome, as they come.
The campaign is not the meat of the game, but it defintately holds its own. It spans over ten missions, each playable on three difficulty settings. Each mission has objectives needed to be completed before the level can be beaten, and playing on a higher difficulty level adds more objectives, and occasionally, new areas to the level. It can easily be beaten in under ten hours, but you won't be able to resist the urge to play it again, and again, and again.
The multiplayer is where this game rocks in every sense of the word. There are dozens of maps, game modes, hundreds of character models, plenty of guns, and the settings can be tweaked to the Nth degree. If the multiplayer isn't enough, then play the challenge mode. Dozens of unique challenges that get progressively harder, and unlock new maps, character models, and trophies. The multiplayer component is flawless.
TS2 is a wonderful game, and it begs to be played by all. It is easy to recommend this one. TS2 deserves a 9.3 out of 10.
