TOCA Race Driver 2 is the driving game to knock Gran Turismo off its pedestal at long last. Visually TOCA is much better than the recent GT games, aiming to provide realistic visuals rather than over-the-top, unrealistic shiny visuals.

It's the driving that counts though and in TOCA its nothing short of fantastic. Cars handle just like you expect and although the game's easy to pick up it'll take an age to master. The vehicles themeselves come in every style you could want, from monster trucks to Formula One.

The career mode is expansive encouraging you to play with all the different varieties of motorsport on offer and online the game never fails to thrill with highly competitive races.

Definitely the best racing game on PlayStation 2, untill TOCA Race Driver 3 comes out that is.
