feels great and all, but it definitely is a little dated

Toejam and Earl is a great classic genesis game, lost in the past. In the game, your objective is to find the pieces of your crashed ship on the planet earth. Mainly, you just walk around, grab presents, and look for pieces. The presents can be retrieved or bought, they are the games power up system. Presents can be good and bad, an example of one is a sling shot, which lets you kill enemies. The most fun I had playing this game was the Cooperative mode, where one person plays as Toejam, the other as Earl. Aside from these great aspects, the game has worn down through time. I remember the first time i played this game, i thought that it was revolutionary...this is no longer the case. I really can't complain about the graphics, because it is an old game, but i can complain about the controls. Walking around feels very clunky and not smooth, which gets very annoying, also the games single player wears thin quickly. Overall, i think that this is a great VC game, but there are better ones.
