This was one of my favorite games for the Sega Genesis. I still have a copy of Toejam and Earl I and II. This game is definitely a classic, and it is completely original. The feeling of the game is so fun, it just gives you a great vibe. The humor is great, in a really goofy way, but it still makes for awesome character. The whole concept is just wacky, but there is a fair bit of variety to what you can do, and randomized levels help for replay value a lot. Randomized presents can surprise you, and they are all useful in totally different ways. There are a few little secrets here and there that spice it up as well, including the level 0, which I thought was awesome. I hope nobody would judge the series on the Xbox version, because in my opinion it completely ruined the vibe and style of the game, and really eliminated some of the more essential parts of the game that made it great. Toejam and earl II, return to funkatron is a completely different game style altogether, but is also pretty damned funky. Also, I might apologize for my extremely high scoring, its a bit biased considering how much I love it. Its an all time favorite.
