I am a huge fan of need for speed underground, gran turismo, juiced, and those other "street racing" sims. To be honest, this is the only street racing game that is true to the words street racing. What other game offers you the opportunity to completely humiliate driver after driver in a on going japanese course? No other game can offer that. Its so much fun to kick other drivers asses, one after the other and then kick the gang leaders ass as well. Need for speed undeground 2 did give the whole "free roaming" concept a chance but honestly I believe Tokyo Extreme Racer completely blows its doors off. From the awesome story before opening a new city or unlocking a new stage, this game kicks any other "street racing" game's ass. The different choices in exhaust systems and you can hear the difference as well with different mods, its amazing. The many changes you can do to the body, chasis, suspensions, transmission, this is one hell of a good game. If you haven't given this game a chance, for the love of God and street racing, please buy it. After all its only 20-25 dollars. Very well spent and a bargain because this game can be easily sold for 50 dollars.
