Great game, but severly underated by the pros due to them not taking the time to tune their cars for the conditions.

Being a die-hard fan of TXR since Tokyo Xtreme Racer: zero, I immediately bought this game the day of release. I went online and was shocked by the cruel reviews by the pros. I'm starting to think its just TXR, because for the Xbox game the series was renamed and got much higher reviews,even though it was created off the same main idea. I played it for about 5 hours but could never drift well. after testing out various settings, i found the perfect drift and grip settings for FR, MR, and FF. With only a few hours of testing you can find the perfect settings for your driving style. I used to have trouble just getting 1,000 points for the first gymkhana drift challenge. Just by changing a few settings on my lightly tuned Nissan Sileighty,a 180 sx with a Silvia front end, I was able to get over 9,000 points without even using the handbrake around just the 1 turn on gymkhana 1. if reviewers spent time playing the game instead of flying through it, it would be better rated, and possibly paired against more advertised brands like Gran Turismo.
