If you haven't know yet, Ghost Recon 2 Summit Strike is a sequal to the original Ghost Recon 2 for the Xbox, Ps2, and Gamecube. This sequal includes more weapons, maps, modes, and 11 new mission. If you haven't played the original then Ghost Recon 2 S:S is a tastical shooter, which have you hugely out number. What this game do really good in is the realism. IT takes time to reload and switch weapons. Also you die in 1-2 hit. You have have a squad ready to command, but some missions need to be played alone with no squad. Also in some missions you will be aided by allies that is not in your squad. Your squad can be command to do basic orders, flank left, flank right, hold position, advance, supress, regroup, and hold fire. . For people who played GR2 is that you can save anywhere you want in this game. This can be a little bit handy if you're caught in the sticky situation and if you die you can simply just start out in your checkpoint. Another thing new about this game is that the maps are wide and open, not like the previous GR it is more linier. You can approach your objective point in many point now. Also your enemies can travel anywhere they want in the open map. This means you can be attack by anywhere and anytime so you need to keep your gaurds up. That also means that if you already cleared out an area of enemies that place might be swarming of enemies again. What makes this game shine is the multiplayer. You can play it in 4 player splitscreen, system link, or Xbox live up to 16 players. There are 24 modes to play in multiplayer and you can also tweak them which add a lot of variety. You can play it solo, competitively, or co-op. My personal favorite is playing it co-op because you get to play through the maps and campaign missions with up to 16 players. The new modes in multiplayer is Helo Hunt and Armor Strike. Helo hunt requires you and your team to take down AI Helocopters. Armor Strike is the same except it involves tanks. The graphics in this game is good but nothing spetacular. The sound is great with excellent gun sounds and good voice acting. Overall this is one of the best tastical shooter out there and would recommend this to anybody who like tastical shooter games or online multiplayer. The campaign will take you around 10 hours to beat, but the multiplayer will last you a long time. Even though this game is hard because you die in one hit ,this is a game worth checking out.
