A totally toned-down version of the 360 game that doesn't really feel like the Ghost Recon games, if you look back.

User Rating: 5.8 | Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter XBOX
When everyone saw Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter running on a Xbox 360, they simply gone crazy. Awesome graphics, full city rendering and really cool effects with the gameplay. So, when Ubisoft anounced the game for the current/past generation consoles, people looked back to past games and thought the quality was gonna be matched. Well, unfortunately, that does not happen here.

First thing, you can't choose a third person view like GR2, so you'll stick to seeing your gun floating like normal FPS. Another strange omission is the common ability for elite soldiers to prone and jump walls. You'll just have to deal with the fact that you'll need to circle walls and just crouch. Good luck not getting killed.

The story is already well-known, so I won't go into any detail... just gonna comment on the fact that this game depreciates Mexico, a lot.

Graphically the game looks worse than the past games. It looks even worse if you spent a lot of time looking the 360 version, but even without doing that (like I didn't), the game looks just average-to-bad. There are a lot of glitches, especially in the first level as you look into the chopper. Your crewman looks funny and his mouth stop moving as he speaks.

Controls-wise, the game responds well, but the gameplay is extremely bogged down to the fact that your main weapon has a ridiculously short reach. You'll be aiming pot-shots so close to the enemies that you won't really have a chance to defend yourself against small and large groups. Just play this as a normal FPS.

Talking about the sound is a dangerous affair. Voices sound normal, nothing spetacular, and the music is your typical Tom Clancy affair.

It's so annoying to be treated to a weak game like this. We, mortals that didn't have a chance to own or even play the 360 version really deserved at least a game as good as the past titles. Sure, we had better expectations than this, but heck, they had risen the bar with GR2, why disappoint us? Bad UbiSoft, bad...
