Graphics ~ The graphics are alright. There are some great explosive effects, but other than that you are looking at average PS2 graphics. Also, one of the most annoying things about the game is the gun animation. Basically, there is no animation and no shell ejections, no slide action, and nothing else other than a flash. The pistol looks like a water pistol and it is really annoying when you shoot it, it does nothing more than make a sound and a flash and then no shell ejects or the gun sliding. Other than the gun problem, the environment looks alright and sometimes detailed but nothing too special.
Sounds ~ I read that the sound is a direct copy from the 360 game. The most annoying thing about it is that since the maps are severely reduced in size, the voice actors sometimes make errors to where to go next. Also, sometimes they give false direction that makes you run in the wrong direction.
Gameplay ~ Overall the game is playable and can be enjoyed to a certain point. You will find that many things in the game are annoying. You get a squad to come with you, and the squad’s AI is fairly good but sometimes they just sit around as a enemy comes right next to them shooting.
Conclusion ~ Wow! This game is alright but then it’s just horrible when you think about it. Don’t expect too much from this game. Best thing to do is wait for it to get thrown into the bargain bin and then you try it out. Otherwise, keep your money and rent it because the game is annoying.
