There is nothing overly special about this game except its ability to do anything it does right. It provides a solid story along with an excellent turn-based strategy experience. There is enough variance between classes that each feels different without being so complex that's it hard to grasp easily. The classes range from semi-invisible ghosts to heavy artillery gunmen. After each mission, some more story is given and does not leave you hanging causing missions to get repetitive; each mission has a point. There is also limited character development that also adds to the story, but in many Tom Clancy games, it really revolves around bigger ideas. The solid visuals and sound also add to the experience.
The complexity levels falls into the "feels right" category for me. Overall, this is a great quality, additive game.
