Expectations were high due to the fact that the the first HAWX was a solid title.

Having been a fan of the 1st HAWX, I was really looking forward to getting back to some serious dogfighting. First off, I found the single player very painful to play, the controls felt sluggish and there was some amount of video choppiness. While I did enjoy the story and there were some very cool elements (AC-130 and UAV playablity). The overall fun factor just wasn't there.

The multiplayer falls in comparison to the first installment. The dogfights were fun and action packed. Now it is a stall fest. I don't like how you need to fly throu a ring to active the team perks. I'm very dissappionted with HAWX 2. It seems the developer only focused on the new elements of the game and removed all the good things that made the first hawx fun. Normally a developer builds upon the the previous title but in this case it's more like a regression.
