A solid and enjoyable shooter.

In Black Arrow you play as Ding Chavez, as in RS3, and you once again have to rescue hostages, stop evil terrorist madmen from committing terrorist atrocities, etc. The AI has been slightly improved but could still do with improvement, and the levels are well designed and fun to play. There are ten missions in the campaign, and they are set in a variety of places around the world, including Cannes and Milan. The Practice Mission and Terrorist Hunt game modes from RS3 return, and a new mode called Lone Wolf, in which you have to get to the extraction point within the time limit, has been introduced. Multiplayer now includes split-screen as well as system link and Live, but the split-screen multiplayer is restricted to co-op. The sound effects and music are still good and you still get a large amount of equipment to choose from. The campaign has just the right difficulty level on recruit, but gets a lot harder on Veteran and Elite due to the fact that on those difficulty levels the terrorists will execute the hostages if you're not careful. Overall Black Arrow is an enjoyable FPS that all FPS fans should play.
