The game deserves a 8.7 because it is essentially just a rehash of Rainbow Six 3. 3 small improvements that are big to veterans of the game, are the bullet collisions/hit detection ("People actually die in this one"), 2 new gametypes (Total Conquest and Retrieval), and the absence of the .50cal M-82 sniper rifle (no more shooting me in the foot and killing me). You can actually run into a room and shoot off 2 rounds and kill a person. Instead of having to walk in circles and unload clip after clip. And it is no longer necessary to go for head shots to kill a person...you can now shoot they're torso. The only gripe I have is the inclusion of some of the old made...or lack there of. Where is City Street Large, that would've made a great retrieval map? Where is Old City, that was one of the best maps for RS3, because it didn't feel small, there was always more than 1 way to go? Hopefully they release a map pack with all the old classics. I also applaud the new level design, there are actually places where a sniper rifle is useful.
