What Rainbow Six Vegas brings table is great, but its not without its share of flaws.(Single Player Review Only)
The graphics for the game, well they're not the best, but they get the job done. The character models all look good, but they're can be a tiny bit of frame rate issues, though they're not very common and don't last to long. The over all presentation is well done, and is up to par with most shooters by today's standard.
The soundtrack is standard and it doesn't do much but provide music for your ears enjoyment. The voice acting is good, once again it gets the job done. There is nothing really lacking with the how the game sounds, each weapon represents it's power really good, and explosions sound great.
The game is what you would expect from a military FPS,kill this guy, flank this guy,and frag this guy.Your able to command your team with each of these commands. The system works well and is a blast to use.Vegas is also one of the few FPS to actually incorporate a cover system that actually works well, and its just a solid cover system that many FPS lack. You can blind fire, pop your head to shoot, and frag around corners,or blind frag if you want to call it that.It all works well. The entire game is fun to play, but it can be a bit boring after a while.
Final Verdict:What you get with Rainbow Six Vegas is a solid tactical shooter that includes a diverse and robust tactical mechanic that works well, plus an excellent presentation.I recommend this to any fan of the series, and a rent at least from a unsure FPS fan.
