O yeah Sams back to quietly kick some terrorist butt again!

I love splinter cell and everything about it. (it helps keep metal gear on its toes lol). One of the main reasons i bought this game was for the online multiplayer, which i was kinda disappointed w/, but the single player game was loads of fun and co-op wasn't bad either.

The gameplay is much like that in the other splinter cell games w/ a few new moves thrown in and alot better graphics. One of my favorite new moves in the game is that you can hang from a pipe and then when the guy walks underneath of you, you can grab him and choke him. While this move is cool you can only use a few times in the game. Another nice addition is the knife. Now if things get a little dicey and some guy trys to rush you, you can whip out the knife and cut his throat or stab him in the gut. Another thing i like is that you dont get a mission over anymore if you tiger too many alarms, which leads to less frustration.

The story is thus, your Sam Fisher a Splinter Cell for a group know as Third Echilon. Some terrorists are threating our way of life and you have to stop them, wait that sounds just like the other splinter cells lol. But seriously you have to stop the terrorists from doing some bad things w/ computers so they dont launch off our nukes. Dosen't sound that bad now does it. Playing through the story is alot of fun though. One of my favorite levels was when you actually get to rob a bank its alot of fun.

Now Co-op mode is a new addition to the series and its pretty fun. You actually do missions that tie in w/ the games story mode. The only thing i found to be a problem is all the stupid load times that you have to go through, and why isn't this mode online, the x-box gets there's online but not the ps2, which kinda sucks.

Now for the main reason that i bought the game the online multiplayer which i couldn't have been more disappointed w/. It's pretty much the same thing as in Pandora Tomorrow w/ just a few new levels, 1 new gaget for each the mercs and the spys which u dont even use anyways, and this werid electric thing that goes on you as merc when u wake up from falling asleep so that spys can't double jump you. Now if you get the x-box version lucky you cause you get alot of new stuff like a shotgun an uzi a gas mask, some new moves, new levels, new gadgets, etc. Needless to say the PS2 got screwed on this, its as if it was an afterthought or something, like o yeah the PS2 need multiplayer and we have to ship this game tomorrow kinda thing. Don't get me wrong I play multiplayer like all the time for it I was just expecting something alot more than what I got.

All in all this game is a buy and the fact that the multi-player is fun means you can play it for a very long time. Well thanks for reading my review.
