One of my favorite XBOX games

Splinter Cell Chaos Theory is with out doubt one of the best games in 2005. I was blown away by the level of quality in the graphic, sound, game play and environments in this game. Graphically there are not many games out there that can even come close to Chaos Theory. An extreme amount of attention has been given to the development of each individual personality in this game. No two character were the same and the level of the AI made them feel even more real. The voice acting is fantastic and realistic, simply top shelf, as is all the other sounds, music and even the background noise sounded real and was all very well done. One of the effects with sound that I found to be very impressive is most evident when Sam crawls into a vent as a NPC is talking. You can hear that difference that being in the vent makes, as it is a little more difficult to hear what is being said and the voices have a distant echo, which becomes clearer as you approach the opening at the end of the vent. It is details like this that all add up to make Chaos Theory one off if not the best game in its genre.
