Splinter Cell Conviction does a lot of things right.....But forgot some of the classics to make this game perfect.
From what you are used to from chaos theory you don't have a light meter or sound meter in this game. One of the problems that you run into the game is you can't pick up bodies. So you have to be carful where you kill someone because if someone finds them or a camera see a dead body, game over. This game you move a lot faster then what you are used to and you can finish the game in about 5-6 hours which is really short for a SC game or any game in that matter. After you finish the single player your other option is to play co op story, hunter, or last stand. Co op story is a new story that you can play with some one from xbox, system link, or split screen. But just like the Single player, it is short and there is only 4 levels. Hunter is a game mode just like a terrorist hunt. But what they did well is they break up each level into sections so you aren't running around a huge map looking for the last guy. If you set off one alarm or someone detects you re eforcement come and double the amount of guys you have to kill. Last stand is a game mode where you have to defend a emp generator from waves of guys. One thing that this game is missing is Spies vs Merc or any type of big multiplayer games.
Final View
Splinter cell is a decent game that works really well. Hopefully threw DLC they will release more maps and multiplayer game modes to make this a truly great game
