I've played all the Splinter Cell games and I loved playing them. I felt like the modern day ninja and they were fun to play! One thing this game suffered from, though, was it rediculously hard! Not creeping slow enough; enemy hears you. Not in complete darkness; the enemy sees you. The great thing about Conviction is the fact they give you warning now when the enemy is about to discover your position. Also, with last known position the enemy comes to see the last place they saw you. I found I had a love/hate relationship with it. Sometimes I would shoot someone a fair distance away then my position would randomly show up on screen. I would tell myself "WTF? How did that happen? No one's even close to me and no one saw me!". Mark and Execute is really fun to use. Im glad they put this in the game. Manual aiming in the other SC games was extremely flawed. When you had a headshot on the enemy, for me anyways, they wouldn't die. Then they would be alerted to your position and kick your ass. Mission Over, Try again. So when I first used M&E, I was excited. Finally a super agent that can kill at least 4 people in under 2 seconds. I try not to look at the negatives in games unless they really deture the game from being great. Nothing here screams don't buy but quite the opposite. This is how Splinter Cell should have been made.
