extremist DRM makes this game almost unplayable

The truth is that the game itself is probably around 7.5 - 8.5/10, but (especially lately) this crap happens all the time:

"Splinter Cell Conviction Server is not Available at this time"

Ubi has been warned before that their DRM is a disaster waiting to happen. Judging from the past experience, Ubi has never had reliable servers for online play and their past involvement with StarForce DRM shows an inability to learn from their mistakes.

Anyways, the game itself is actually a very fine game with nice co-op features, however the DRM renders the game unplayable many times.

Game = 8/10
DRM/Server Availability = 1/10
Overall: 4.5/10 (+1.5 point gift to UBI for being consistent in making DRM mistakes over many years and relentlessly punishing their paying customers). So, 6.0/10.
