Splinter Cell: Conviction adds a new twist but i miss the old Splinter Cell

User Rating: 9.5 | Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction (Collector's Edition) X360
Splinter Cell: Conviction is great it has nice graphics, good, sound, and a good story line. There are a lot of changes in this game than the other splinter cell games. The game goes black and white when you are hidden in the shadows and turns color when you are in the open. The story line is very good and easy to follow but the game is kind of short. You can customize weapons which is a nice feature. The objectives appear in the game on the walls, ceilings, and floors. The game is no longer about sneaking up behind the guys and interrogating them, you can kill anyone you want and it's faster paced. The reason I gave this game a 9.5 is because I always liked the way Splinter Cell was and now it's your everyday action game. I miss hiding in the shadows and having to keep some people alive I though it added more of a challenge. In this game you no longer work for NSA in fact in one of the missions you infiltrate the base. The multiplayer makes up for the single player though. There is a game mode called deniable ops and you play as a spy and take out the guards it's basically like single player but you can do it co-op or split screen which makes it more fun. There is a story co-op which is cool and it's different than the main story but I think deniable ops are more addicting.

Overall Splinter Cell Conviction is a good game and should be played by anyone who is a fan of action games or anyone who is a fan of the Splinter Cell series
