Splinter Cell Double agent for the gamecube is a great game so long as you don't over analyze the graphics downgrades.

As a person who only owns a game cube, I honestly have to say that this is a great game. Although I have seen the other versions, I also realize that the game cube just doesn't have the abilities to keep the same story line, and still have the great graphics that the other platforms have. I can understand the harsh criticism coming from people who have other platforms, but many people who only own a gamecube will agree with me, that SCDA on the game cube is actually a great game. Especially considering that the gamecube was originally created for younger children and party type games (Mario Party???). In fact, if you look across the entire line of multi platform games, the gamecube almost always comes up short, simply because of the mini disc system, and the fact that it doesn't have the processor to keep up with the other systems.
I honestly don't understand why everyone's bashing the GC's control scheme for SCDA. I found the controls relatively easy to get used to, and having to push more than one button at once was actually very easy, and simple.
Although I would never recomend the game cube version to any gamers who have played the game on any other platform, it is a great game to people who solely own a gamecube. Although the graphics may not be as good, the game play is still as riveting, exciting, and fun as ever.
