Pandora Tomorrow is an alright game but it's over too quick.

User Rating: 7.5 | Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow PS2
I am a huge fan of the Splinter Cell series. The first game was one of the funnest games I have ever played. Pandora Tomorrow is fun at times but it's missing quite a bit. My biggest complaint is the game is way too short. I believe there is 8 missions. The first one had 12 if my memory serves me well. The levels seem short too. That was a letdown. I'm getting tired of games that are over too quick. Another 2 or 3 missions could also help develop the story a little further. Second, the PS2 owners had to wait longer for their version to come out. They said that to reward us for our patience they would give us an all new jungle mission that's not on the other versions. It's not even a mission. They just extended one of the jungle levels . It's hardly anything, just a few enemies to get past. It's not that great. The sound isn't that great either. Sam still has a cool voice and so do a few others, but some of the sounds like the guards voices are horrible. Not very believable. It's not all bad though. I found it to be pretty fun at times. The gameplay is very similar to the first which is great because the gameplay is like it should be. It even has a few new neat things like whistling to divert an enemy. The story is ok, but it felt incomplete. The game's strongest point is the graphics. The water looks realistic when Sam is moving around in it. The graphics are superior to most PS2 games. I haven't played the multiplayer game since I don't have a connection on my PS2, but it sounds great. I was hoping there was a 2 player game so I could play with friends but there isn't. Fans of the Splinter Cell series and stealth games should like this game. Other unfamiliar with the series should play the first Splinter Cell first to see if they like it before they play this one. Overall this is a fairly decent game but there are better games out there.
