I played the original splinter cell and thought it was different than anything I played before. I tried to play Chaos Theory, but I couldn't get it to work. Strange, since it was newer than Pandora Tomorrow, but whatever. It is definitely a differently paced game than I am used to. But if you have the patience and the ability to think through situations you can have a rewarding experience. The only problem I have with the game is that you move slower than I think you should be able to and aiming is a bit of a chore (you would think Sam would be an elite sniper!). But I like the gamed very much and will purchase future installments. Other similar games that are also very good are the Thief series. Every Tom Clancy game I have played have been solid gaming experiences and always worth playing (all Rainbow six games).
