This time around Sam still has access to his gadgets, such as the lockpick, which you will definitely need, as well as the night vision goggles, which will allow you to see in the dark, which is important because that is where you will be spending most of your time, since the dark is Sam's best friend. Also, the heat vision goggles are back, which allow you to see objects that eminate heat, such as people, and bombs.
As said, you will spend a lot of time in the dark. Being able to remain undetected will be your best chance of completing your missions, and so hiding in the dark will be the most helpful way to avoid detection by your enemies. You will be able to create darkness by eliminating the light sources around you, such as lights, whether they be indoor or outdoor.
Sam returns with the same weapons as last time. He has his trusty silenced pistol, which is useful for eliminating lights, and he also gets his assault rifle back, which is also silenced. This is useful for if you are forced into a gunfight, or else to use its accesories, such as the shock darts, which put enemies down, or airfoil rings, which will render enemies unconcious.
More of the same action as the first, but a very good game, and is a must play if you are a fan of the series, or just like stealth oriented games.
