I have recently bought the entire trilogy of Splinter cell games because of Microsofts '$10' hits program. And I must say, it's worth the cash. This game, which may be a few years old, is still the frontrunner for graphics and technology. Not only is the lighting masterfully crafted, (effects are done beautifully) but the sound and movement is top-notch.
Speaking of sound, the new whistle feature is a godsend. It's so useful, you'll find yourself doing it on every level. Multiplayer is an innovative marvel, featuring an FPS/TPS hybrid never before seen.
Now to the bad. As I said, it's a few years old, so the graphics could be a bit better when compared to say, Halo 2 or Doom 3. Sometimes, you wonder if guards have any pheripheral vision whatsoever. The weapons seem seriously underpowered, although the gadgets are quite cool.
As I said, this game is wonderful and deserves nothing but a glowing review.
