Stealth games have been re-defined... Again! With MULTIPLAYER!

User Rating: 10 | Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow XBOX
A sequel to the record-setting Splinter Cell, Pandora Tomorrow is one of the best games I have! Not only does Sam Fisher return to do his stealthy thing with better graphics, but there is now a multiplayer mode! The replayability in Single Player isn't that special, but the fact that there is Multiplayer is awesome! Who would have thought stealth games could have multiplayer anyway? There is only Xbox Live multilplayer, so I don't recommend this game to non-Xbox-Live players. The single player is excellent, but you only play it once, and there isn't anything to unlock or something like that. Anyhow, the multiplayer is a new style. It's Master Chief (mercenary) versus Sam Fisher (spy). (You don't get to play as MC, that's just an example) The goal in all modes is to kill the opposing team (or do the seperate objective which I will soon explain). The spies can run faster, jump farther, and ultimately hide better than the mercenaries. Spies can break necks, jump on heads, elbow, and punch. Mercenaries can plant mines, use a tazer (greatest gadget ever), shoot grenades, shoot with bullets, and jump on heads. But then, if you are an FPS fan, this is the good part: the mercenaries' gun can fire in automatic mode, burst-fire mode, and yes: sniper mode! If you don't kill your opponent in multiplayer, you can do one of the objectives. Most commonly, the objective is to neutralize the ND133 (a smallpox bomb). This takes 10 seconds of standing still and hoping you won't be shot or blown up. Then there is a mode where you walk up to the ND133, and take the smallpox canister from it. Then you have to run all the way back to your base. If you die, the canister is dropped right there. After maybe 15 seconds or so, the canister will go back to the ND133. You can pick it up and take to your base from there, but it takes you 15 seconds to come back to life. So your teammate will do it. Mercenaries can also go over to the canister, press A, and it will be sent back to the ND133 on its own. The last mode is the same as the first one, except you plant a little object near the ND133 and it neutralizes on its own for 20 seconds. You have to keep the mercenary from shooting it while it neutralizes. And that is a detailed description of Multiplayer. But all I have to say about Single Player is: imagine the first Splinter Cell. Make it longer, and make the graphics better. Add some new gadgets and there you go. The lighting is better and the graphics are better than ever before! So BUY NOW!
