Sam Fisher has returned for the second Splinter Cell game and this time hes not alone, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Pandora Tommorow is the second Splinter Cell game after Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell. This time Ubisoft didnt use the Montreal studio they uised the Shanghai studio, but that doesnt change the results of this game buy very much. Some things, most of the things in Pandora Tommorow are the same from the original, but there is this new and never before seen and very unique multiplayer mode. The campaign for Pandora Tommorow offers the same kind of the stealth action experience the original offered. So this game's campaign is at least as good as the originals if not better of a game that was considered one of the xboxs best games. And with the new multiplayer mode this game is far better than the original game, and really is like 2 games in 1. First i'm goinb to tell you about Pandora Tommorow's single player mode because thats what most Splinter Cell fans with recognize the most. Unlike the first game, this game takes place is alot of exxotike locations. where are the original game was usualy set in interior locations. This time around you have missions that are set in jungles, trains, and other stuff simalar to that, these locations are really hard for someone like Sam Fisher who is used to doing missions in the dark. The single player campaign isnt much different from the originals, your trying to remain hidden most of the time, take care of any obstacles that get in Sams way quietly, and you have to accomplish some really important objectives namely to get rid of this guerilla mercenary leader who is threatening the world with some secret weapon. Like the first game, the campaign can sometimes be difficult and get really frustrating at times. Although there is only eight missions in this game most of them are quite long. It may take like a really good Splinter Cell player about 10 hours to get through the campaign. And overall the campaign is just as good if not better than the first Splinter Cells. Now the multiplayer mode is completly different from the campaign but it does go in with it. Basically theres an organisation called Shadownet (the spies) is sent off the take out these special weapons that are being defended by a mercenary group called Argus (mercenaries). Basically the spires, who are very simalar to Sam Fisher, are the good guys and the Argus Mercenaries are the bad boys. How this works in the game is that there are 4 player matches which the spies of mercenaries must duke it out againt eachother, with the spires trying the eliminate the special biological weapons and the mercenares trying to hold off the spies. There are 8 different multiplayer maps to play on and none of them are in the single player mode. These maps are perfect for 4 players, the maps arent too big and arent too small. There are multiple entrances to rooms so Argus can't just camp around and defend the special weapons. The big twist about the multiplayer is that Argus plays in first person mode (like Halo) and Shadownet plays lke Sam Fisher. So shadownet as mode situational awareness while the mercenaries have bigger and better weapons. The spies also have other thins to worry about other than the mercenaries, there are laser tripwires, motion detectors, and things simalar to that. But the spies can use the special rifle to jam all of these temporarilly. While the Mercenaries have there own equipment, there fifle can switch from burst to auto firing and they have there own unique visions just like the spies do. This multiplaer mode is online for both the computer and xbox and has voice communication which is pretty important since this a team based multiplayer mode. Overall this game is great, if you enjoyed the original Splinter Cell game then this one will impresse you more. And the multiplayer mode stand alone and with the campaign you get so much value out of this game. So if you like stealth action games then Splinter Cell Pandora Tommorow will keep you happy and will give an experience thats very good and will keep you playing well after you have beaten the game.
