Great Single Player, Better Multiplayer. Nuff said.

First of all, you should know I'm reviewing this game upon my experience with the xbox and PC versions. Let's begin by saying that SC:PT is an absolute steal. For fifty bucks(not anymore), you are getting more than your money's worth, especially if you have xbox live or a good PC. The single player is fairly similar to the first game with some fixes on glitchy stuff and the graphics. Its fairly lengthy, often depending upon how good you are at the game, but the story is lackluster. Once, again you will be playing as international NSA agent Sam Fisher, out to keep America safe from terrorists. The gameplay is improved from the first one mainly because you get different environments and different situations. Many missions are indoors, but one occurs in the jungle of a Indonesian terrorist camp and even inside of a submarine. While you still have to go the same direction every time to complete the mission, you have many ways of moving through. The abilitiy to whistle and attract guards adds the option of sneaking around difficult areas, and you will find yourself having to be quieter and more stealthy than in the first game. You will also find more of the much needed run and gun areas where you get to spill a lot of blood and a lot of bullets to get you out of the rut of sneaking everywhere. The multiplayer component is basically only available through online, but it's very worth it. At first it may seem frustrating because it takes a while to get used to it, and even longer to get good at it. You will want to set up lots of nonranked games until you start to reach your prime because noobies will get smashed by even not-that-great vets. Once you get good however, the multiplayer is fun as Hell. The 2-on-2 nature creates a very competetive, head to head nature thats very exciting. There are three ranked gametypes, and many of player created games for nonranked games like tag and predator. In my opinion one of the best games to come to xbox live. The main fault of the online is that it is fairly glitchy, but that has been mostly fixed by updates.
