I strongly disagree with Greg Kasavin. I noticed that all three Splinter Cell games have scored lower than MGS. This game is a lot better than MGS. The AI is very intelligent and deadly. The animals in this game add to the tension. The graphics are stellar for the year it was released. The plot is intelligent and based on real events around the world. The downloadable content also adds to the value. The voice acting is excellent. There's no trial and error once you know the controls. You can save anywhere. The loading is a decent length. The metal music was great.

  Splinter Cell was the game that started the epic series but can, perhaps, be best described as a trial.
