I love all of the little homages to the original game, from the level design, cutscenes, music, sound effects, menus, etc...I am SO GLAD they paid so much respect to the original! The new engine introduced in Tomb Raider: Legend works perfectly with the classic levels, and the new puzzles and areas are just the right amount of new content added to make this old game feel new again. The atmosphere introduced in the original is replicated perfectly here. Granted, Tomb Raider's huge innovation in gaming back in 1996 isn't present here - but it's still a great nostalgia piece and should be fun for anyone, even if they aren't familiar with the franchise.
