eidos, i hope you gave everyone at crystal dynamics a raise, because they've now nailed it twice. sure it's a tragedy they can't make a good legacy of kain game to save their lives, but at least we've got tomb raider anniversary.

the game is exactly what u would hope for: the feel of the original is kept intact down to the psuedo-creepy explorer music, while updating the tombs (the real characters of the game) to the same level of excellence and detail as was given last year's uber-comeback game tomb raider legend.

kudos crystal dynamics. thank you. u did excellent work paying tribute to one of the finest video games in recent history.

the mechanics are very similar to legend's however the back pack returns and ur limey support over the wireless is gone of course...i mean it is essentially a prequel.

lara still moves like a ballerina in a china shop, well- if the china shop was filled with rabid wolves, poison darts and collapsing platforms of course.

anyone who loved the original will also find themselves a bit rabid, or at least drooling. Natla and her evil returns and she's even creepier this time around. the story has lost none of it's pop in the remake.

speaking of pop, the guns are a bit weaker than i'd like, but then it really just keeps you on ur tows that much more. and in all honesty; that's exactly what we buy tomb raider games for anyway....well that and her ''assets''. final note, the breast physics have gotten better once again too. heheh.
