A well-made game that marks the same ol' for Lara Croft which isn't necessarily a bad thing...
What many have claimed to be a return to form is really just the natural evolution of any franchise over the course of several different consoles. Nicer graphics, tighter controls, varying moves - nothing too notable and as a Tomb Raider purist, that's just how I want it. There is still an incoherent story, completely superfluous driving levels, a spotty camera, etc. but the controls feel good, the levels are varied, and the puzzles are just as annoying as ever.
The one major flaw being the short running time. Easily taken care of in 10 hours, this game screams more of a rental for most.
