This game is a great achievement in comparison to the previous Tomb Raider adventures.

What makes Tomb Raider: Legend outstanding from the rest is that it is quite noticeable that the developers really took their time with it. The story, gameplay, and the beautiful graphics make this one the best in series. Now the very first time i played Tomb Raider was when the 3rd one when was released, and quite frankly I was not impressed. After I had gotten my Playstation 2, I really couldn't wait for Angel of Darkness, and once again I was very disappointed with it. After the first half hour, I lost interest with it completely. Now the world is exposed to Legend and I simply cannot put the controller down. I am just as stunned at this game just as the government was when Grand Theft Auto came onto the scene, but in a very good way. I do have some brief flaws with it that I have noticed and so has Gamespot. It is rather short of a game. The frame rate needs some tuning even though it isn't too terribly painful. Also the basic controls could be better, but the biggest problem are the camera controls. But if one forgives these flaws, you have yourself an excellent gaming experience and this one should go down in the records.
