Great game overall, but a few little things let it down.
It has a nice storyline that keeps you wanting more and has decent voice acting too. The graphics are good for the ps2, but amazing on xbox 360. However if you can't afford one of those don't worry, because it looks pretty sharp on whatever platform you use.
The gameplay is pretty solid and has a good variety of platforming, puzzling and action, but the action sequences can be tedious and repetitive, especially the shooting bits. There are two motorbike riding sections but they seem not very well planned out and not very exciting in general, yet they add some extra variety in gameplay.
The game can be finished in 7-10 hours, depending on your skill level, so can feel a bit short, and there isn't much replay value. But if you just can't get enough, there are special tokens to collect in every level, which unlock outfits and gun upgrades. You can also explore Croft manor which is definitely worth spending half an hour in.
Tomb raider legend is an excellent game and despite minor flaws, it leaves you wanting more. It is a welcome return for Lara Croft.
