This game is so great it makes you forget at the disaster that was the angel of darkness. Lara finally moves as she should. Laras movements are smooth and intuitive, the puzzles are great but they are not frustrating...you'll hardly ever get stuck in a level which i think is a great step forward respect to the previous games. Now the graphics on the ps2 are simply awesome...on the xbox360 they are disappointing because the graphics are good but 360 can do much better. As far as the ps2 version is concerned there aren't any slowdowns and if you have and hd tv that support 525p you can run the game at this resolution (or you can use the ps3 to upscale it to 1080p -but i can't confirm this-). The game has a great story and high replay value (timetrials to unlock cheats and artifacts collection to unlock outfits). It's a must buy if you are a tomb raider fun and if you like adventure games. You won't be disappointed!
