a quite immersive game,this expansion is!
it has the engine of tr3-no improvement or enhancement & also the same gameplay & weapons.lara is in the search for the hand of rathmore.the action takes place in scotland,in the first 2 levels.the game begins with a cut scene where lara gets down from a helicopter.the atmosphere here cold & you literally have the sensation that you are cold-immersive levels.these levels are named highland fling & willards lair.the sky is very cloudy & it has purple & violet colours but it's not raining.you venture through castle ruins & in a small scotish cemetery with mist!a very cold scene,not spooky,scary but cold!at willards lair,you will venture only through traps, like in the 2nd part of the first level of tr2-something similar.from level 3,shakespeare cliff,lara will begin to leave scotland & head for england.in this level she will venture through the euro-tunell,the one that links england & france.then comes the level sleeping with the fishies:)an aquatic level.then comes one of the most bizzare tomb raider levels ever!it's called "it's a madhouse!".you are in france in a zoo!very interesting & pshyhedelic level design.complicated level though.full of wild animals & puzzles,you will also arrive at an botanical garden.the final level is called reunion where lara will place the hand of rathmore(i don't know why)into a hole of a cadavre!yes,you heard right!she will put the blue hand into that hole of the cadavre.weird!at the end of the game she will fight with sofia,the one that she fights with in tr3,at the end of the london levels,the one with the blond hair.lara will beat the crap out of her again & take the hand of rathmore(from sofias hands this time)& leave through a tunell that leads to a beach where an air ballon is waiting her.a fantastic scene indeed!
